suicide/self harm TW
A kid killed himself by jumping off of the stadium at my school last Friday. People are either sad, making horrific jokes, or acting like nothing happened. My zoology teacher showed the video in the link to us today, talked about what he experienced when he was a kid and what he currently deals with. He’s been on anti anxiety medication and antidepressants since high school. He said that he has about one hundred students this year, but there are ten that he’s really worried about. That he knows the behaviors, the hollow looks, the warning signs. He kept me after class for a second and said that he was there for me if I needed anyone. I just lightly rubbed the cuts under my sleeve (a shitty habit that I have) and said thank you.
