It was only lunchtime and you were already in total disbelief.

To every person you explained your identity to, they accepted it without much thought. One person even told you, “I can’t tell which one you’d be anyways,” referring to being either male or female.

All day you had gotten the question you’d been hoping for, for so long; “are you a boy or a girl?”

Only your close friends from last school year were able to recognize you, but they were already accepting of you. You wouldn’t have been friends with them if they didn’t.

Quite possibly the event that was causing the most disbelief, was during first period.

A lovely looking girl had sat next to you, smiling at you prettily.

“Hi, would you kind if I gave you my number? You’re super cute, and I’d love to get to know who you are behind the face.”

As you talked with her more you found out she was quite sweet, and her flirting had put you in a great mood.

At lunch, you were sitting with your usual group, munching on a sandwich you’d brought from home and a lemonade.

A guy walked up after a moment, patting the chair next to you.

“Is this seat taken?”

Magen you and your friends answered no, he sat down, angling himself towards you.

“Hey, this is really sudden and everything, but would you like to go out sometime?”

You grinned as you took a sip of lemonade before answering, knowing this was cracking up to be a great year.
