Quick Reminders…

  • Bingeing is pretty much inevitable, at some point you’re going to binge. That’s okay. We all do it, what matters is how you keep going and how hard you work after.
  • It’s okay to eat if you need nutrition. Do your research, find foods with negative calories but have the nutrients you need. You can’t work out if you’re passing out all over the place.
  • You’re not a burden. If you need to talk to someone, do it. I don’t mean you have to talk to friends or family but find someone in the community. For me, having someone to help hold me accountable and make a plan with me helps so much! If you have no one else, shoot me a message. My inbox is always open.
  • There’s going to be times when your weight loss seems to slow down or even stop, that’s normal. Just keep working and it’ll get back there. Don’t let a couple days at the same weight stop your progress.
  • If you ever get the urge to reach out and get help, take that motherfucker and do it! An eating disorder is a really difficult thing to struggle with. It doesn’t make you weak to get help, even if you haven’t reached your ultimate goal weight.
  • You are valid. Don’t let someone tell you that you’re not for any reason. If your ugw is half of your current weight, you’re valid. If you binge, you’re valid. If you don’t “look like you have an eating disorder”, you’re valid. Everyone in the community is different. We all have different starting points and different goals. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
  • Most importantly, stay safe. If you starve yourself too much, you could end up dead. You can’t enjoy your ultimate goal weight and all of your hard work if you’re in a coffin. I don’t know about y’all, but I refuse to be buried looking the way I do now.
