-START AT NIGHT
This helps me the most. I always start any fast at 9:00 pm so when I wake up, I’m already about 12 hours in. And with a 36 hour fast, you can just think “Okay, go until this time tomorrow then SLEEP” so you’ll wake up having completed another 12ish hours aka completing the fast.
-KEEP YOURSELF BUSY
Go to a friend’s, go on a walk, take a nap, clean, do homework, something!! Before you know it, hours will have passed by.
-CHEW GUM
Sometimes we’re not hungry, we just need flavor! Gum provides the flavor with 5 small calories that can be burned off by a few minutes of walking.
-NO HEAVY EXERCISE
This will only tire you out and make you hungrier! Light stretches only
-COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE
The stronger, the better! Gives you energy, natural laxative, and is an appetite suppressant!!
-CHEW AND SPIT AS A LAST RESORT
You will absorb some calories from this, and only do this if really needed.
-STOP IF NEEDED
If you faint, DO NOT KEEP FASTING. Stop, and eat something light. Please, don’t kill yourselves trying to fast.
-STOP AT 36 HOURS
After that, your body starts consuming muscle. Your heart is a muscle. Think about that.
-HYDRATE IR DIEDRATE
Drink water water water!!! 4 big bottles a day, 6 regular bottles, or 8 glasses. Will also flush your body of toxins.
-BREAK FAST WITH HEALTHY FOOD
I usually break mine with an apple and an egg white. 97 calories and light and healthy.
