Cardio work out machines are actually best in intervals. It allows more fat to be burned in between intervals while your heart rate is still up.

10 min stationary bike

If you don’t have a work out machine at home or a membership to a gym, you can also jump rope, which is great exercise, walk, jog, or dance. Look up all the ways you can mindlessly burn calories such as tapping your foot.

Eating disorders are not a game

It’s all fun and games until you’re so far in and wish you could get out, but you’re trapped in a cycle of extreme depression and Anorexia has taken over. It makes me want to cry for hours when I think about how much food tastes good and how much I wish I could be normal. But I can’t. Having an eating disorder is one of the most painstaking things to deal with. Please, if you’re just starting out, get out before it’s too late. I wish I had listened to posts like these but I didn’t. It gets to a point where you physically cannot bring yourself to eat and you experience panic attacks and mood swings and lose every ounce of happiness you ever had within you. You just wish you could eat and enjoy it but every time you eat there’s a voice screaming in your head that you are fat and worthless and it starts to define you. I’m begging you, save yourself the misery. Being addicted to killing yourself slowly is not a game, and it is NOT trendy. Reblog if you feel this message should be heard.

LOSE YOUR SEX DRIVE! – wow can you believe that one day you might not even wanna have sex? You’re going to be OUT of it all the time. Making out with someone is just not a big thing. The next big thing isn’t an orgasm but hitting your goal weight.

BE COLD ALL THE TIME! – even if you haven’t experienced large drops of body fat or weight. When your body produces too little thyroid hormone, it can make you feel cold no matter the temperature. Also, you might notice strange little hairs everywhere. Thats called LANUGO – your body is trying to keep you warm.

BRUISE EASILY! – Its enough just to pinch your thigh and congrats, your legs are officially purple. Caused by low blood sugar and lack of vitamin B in your system.

BE THIRSTY EVEN THO YOU JUST DRANK! – aw man, it must be so fun to constantly shock your body like this. You can go through 10 bottles of water and still have dry mouth. Unexplained but could be a sign of diabetes. Drink liquid magnesium, it makes a huge difference! (0cal)

STANDING UP AND PASSING OUT! – you get used to it but its always a nice shocker. I’m pretty sure we all look insane when we stand up and then grab the nearest thing to hold onto. This is called orthostatic hypotension and occurs when a person’s blood pressure falls when suddenly standing up from a lying or sitting down position.

HAVING BAD MEMORY! – mixing up words and their meanings, forgetting small things like dates and years. Do you really need a medical name for this or do you realize its caused by not feeding your brain the proper foods?

ANOREXIA IS NOT PRETTY. IT IS NOT A FASHION TREND!

Wake the fuck up

My eating disorder didn’t start with me thinking: “I’m going to develop an eating disorder” and instantly skipping meals, restricting calories, and fasting. It’s not like that.

It started out with not being 100% happy with my weight. I knew I was skinny.

I thought: “I should stop eating junkfood and start eating healthy and exercise more.” I thought that I was just going on a diet. And in the beginning, I was just on a diet. Then I thought: “Maybe if I eat just a little less, the weight loss will speed up. But just a little, and i’ll eat normally when I hit my goal weight.”

And then I ate less. And less. And less.

And now I have an eating disorder.

I’ve seen so many fucking posts of people wanting to be come anorexic. To “try it out”

I’m going to break it down for those people.

This is not a fucking diet.

This is hell.

We live in hell.

Every fucking day constantly we fret over little shit we do.

We don’t just shop with friends anymore, we count how many fucking calories we burnt walking.

We eat a fucking apple and it’s like the end of the goddamn world for us.

We can’t have a normal family dinner anymore without almost flipping shit wondering how many calories we will have to burn at night.

And don’t fucking forget we burn those calories 2AM in the fucking morning silently crying wishing we could go back before this hell.

It is not a fucking lifestyle.

Nobody one day just thinks “oh I want a eating disorder”

That’s bullshit.

Stop thinking that eating disorders are just there one day.

i really hate those proana/thinspo posts that are like “do you want to look like this or this” and then uses pictures of random fat women to compare to pictures of skinny women.

like how fucking dare you. they’re both beautiful and just because im unhappy with my bpdy doesnt mean i have any right to tell fat people that they are ugly or undesirable.

dont ever call someone a pig or ugly or a cow just because you call yourself that. you have no right to abuse someone like that. you just end up being no better than the people who called you all those things when you were in school.
