Do this four times repeatedly and you’ll be out. But how does it work? There’s some real brain science behind it.

We’re trying this tonight!

It’s about time someone got around to uncovering all the cheat codes for this “human being” software. It’s only been out for like 10,000 years.

?????????????

I’ve used this technique for about a year, and I can safely say that it has efficiently transformed my sleeping habits from several hours of struggle to fall asleep, to passing out in a matter of minutes.

It’s a form of Alexander Technique. It’s a technique that was designed for actors to keep their body in ready working condition and give it the best way to perform. This is the method used to calm, and center the body. Once the body is at that point it can perform anything you want it to.

Reblogging for later reference after I tried it earlier today to try to calm down. It actually does help a lot, not just for sleep but if you have problems with anxiety.

My default mental setting is “vibrating intensely in the background.” After doing this, I felt noticeably calm and relaxed – I wasn’t as fixated on my breathing, I wasn’t tense, my movements weren’t jerky and I didn’t feel like I had to be as tense as possible to be under control. 10/10 would recommend.

me gonna try it

dont wanna reblog but insomnia is a bitch for some ppl so heres for my mutuals having trouble sleeping.

I need some goddamn sleep help so why not

How to ACCURATELY calculate calories burned while working out!

We have all seen those cute “easy 100 calorie workout” posts. But sadly, those calories burned aren’t always accurate to what your weight it. A person who weighs 180 pounds is going to burn more calories than someone who weighs 135 pounds. So I’ve done the math behind how to get a perfect count

KEY THINGS TO REMEMBER

• Each workout has their own level of intensity which will therefore burn different amounts of calories

• To get an accurate count, each exercise must be done for a full minute without stopping.

HOW TO CALCULATE

• Each exercise below has a matching decimal

• Take the decimal associated with whatever exercise you did and multiply it by your current body weight

• That number will tell you how many calories you burned in one minute of that exercise

Squats~ .096

Push-ups~ .037

Crunches~ .022

Planking~ .022

Jumping jacks~ .037

Arm Circles~ .007

Mountain climbers~ .059

Lunges~ .059

Donkey/Back kicks~ .030

Walking~ .014

Running/sprinting~ .096

Stairs/ Stair climber~ .044

Weight Lifting~ .022

Box jumps~ .096

Burpees~ .059

EXAMPLE

For a 135 pound person- one minute of burpees will burn roughly 8 calories a minute

For a 180 pound person- one minute of burpees will burn roughly 11 calories a minute

I hope this helped any confusion of how to accurately count calories with out the use of a Fitbit, calorie tracker app, or just guessing. Happy exercising!

My worst fear is someone seeing this and thinking “wow, I should develop an eating disorder.” Please don’t use this blog as an example of how to lose weight. This isn’t heathy or safe at all.

CAN. NOT. EMPHASISE. THIS. ENOUGH 👏👏👏

✨please don’t look up to this blog✨

I’m literally killing myself. This isn’t pretty this is awful pls

I’m just saying…I hope I did not cause anyone to develop an ED.

Reposting just in case…

I actually don’t understand what is wrong with me. I can spend so much fun and special time with my closest friends yet as soon as I’m alone I feel so empty and alone and want to resort back to self harm. I feel bad as though they’re not good enough to make me happy. They are more than good enough, I’m just never going to be happy, am I?

WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU:

Social media defines people with eating disorders as pale, stick thin, and often with huge thigh gaps, but what social media decides not to tell everybody is so fucking different.

When we think of anorexia we think of noneating individuals, who refuse to eat and who exercise to much, WANNA KNOW THE TRUTH THOUGH?!

It’s so fucking not.

It’s loosing all of your friends because who can have friends when there’s a chance you will have to eat with them

It’s when you play with your hair and it falls out

It’s the moment you see stars and your vision becomes blurry when you stand

When medical teams are terrified and you still don’t comprehend why this is such a big deal

Always being freezing cold, even when it’s 100 degrees outside

Dark eyes

Always being tired

Getting medical tests constantly because your told your at risk for cardiac arrest

Counting is literally your best friend

Nothing.Else.Matters

Your whole life’s value is defined of what a scale says, or how your day will be, or if your allowed to fucking eat or not.

There is NEVER going to be a weight you get too that your happy with, NEVER!

The worst part?

You won’t even know how far your gone until it’s too fucking late because your brain is so fogged up it doesn’t believe anybody or anything even when your on the verge of body failure.

Because that voice will continue to tell you “just x more pounds and then I’ll be done”

Until your done.
